In Memory of Dallas Hanley
Heather Hanley is a dear friend of the ministry of Child Hope, and is the teacher of the Tugwell children here in Haiti. Last week, she experienced a great loss when her brother, Dallas, changed residence from this earth to his Heavenly Home. We pray and grieve with Heather and her family in this time as they wait to see their son and brother again.
Dallas (a.k.a. DJ) visited Haiti back in 2013 with his sister and parents. He was used by God here as he prayed for people and shared his own story. Dallas was very proud of his sister, Heather, as he shared in his own words about his time in Haiti:
“My blood sister and also my sister in Christ is going back to Haiti on Wednesday to continue the work God has called her to do. I couldn’t be more proud of her! I’m not sure where I would be today if it wasn’t for a awesome older sister who loves God and has been praying for me, for years. Thanks for everything! You rock!”
In honor of Dallas’ life, his family has chosen the family of Child Hope as a way to remember him and his love for family. We honor and remember you Dallas – now in the arms of your Heavenly Father. We are thankful for your life and we will carry you in our hearts until we see you in Heaven.
If you would like to make a charitable donation in memory of Dallas, please visit the Child Hope donation page and select “In Memory of Dallas Hanley” from the drop-down menu.
Thank you for your prayers and for loving DJ,
Noel and Lori Tugwell
