On September 11th, schools across Haiti began the new school year. Given the instability in Haiti, schools opening on time is nothing short of a miracle (last year they did not open until October, and some delayed even beyond that).
We are excited to share that between our Family Hope and Future Hope programs you are helping send 32 children to school this year, from preschool up to university!
These 32 students attend 16 different schools from across the country. 22 students are in preschool or primary school, 9 are in secondary school, and 1 is attending university and studying Law.
In July 2024 five students will be taking the national exam for 9th graders. Two students are in their final year of high school (Philo)!
