Haiti is in crisis. Gangs have taken control of much of the country, leading to skyrocketing reports of murder, kidnapping, and violence. Schools and orphanages, once considered safe havens, are now targeted because they receive food, water, and resources.

Even before this turmoil, orphanages were not the ideal solution. God’s design for children is to be raised in loving families. Yet in Haiti, 80% of children in orphanages are not true orphans—they have parents or extended family who would care for them if only they had the support to do so.
