Haiti is a place full of juxtaposition – beautiful landscape, vibrant culture, effervescent people, coexisting with political corruption, hardship, and the impossible to shake statistic “poorest country in the Western Hemisphere.” CHI’s book club will help us learn more about Haiti, avoiding “the danger of a single story.” The book club will read a variety of works focused on Haiti and Christian missions.
The CHI Book Club will read and discuss 4 books a year. See the list below for upcoming books and discussion dates. Join our Facebook group to stay connected!
