The safety of the children in our care has always been our top priority. This month several staff members led emergency planning and preparedness training with the children. Topics included what to do in the event of an earthquake, what to do in a fire, how to operate a fire extinguisher and more. After the training sessions we did several drills to practice. These training sessions are repeated annually, to make sure the kids know what to do in case of emergency.
