This month, we’re excited to share that Child Hope International has hired a new social worker who will soon be joining our team in Haiti!
Although he hasn’t officially started yet, we are filled with anticipation and gratitude for the expertise and energy he will bring to our growing reunification work. He lives outside of Port-au-Prince, which is a strategic location for supporting our Families Count pilot program.
What makes his addition especially valuable is the depth of experience he brings. He has worked with two organizations in Haiti that have been doing reunification work in parallel with CHI. This means he understands the complexities separated families face and he knows what it takes to bring them back together. His hands-on knowledge of assessments, case management, and follow-up support will be instrumental as we walk with families through reunification and long-term stability.
We believe God is writing a bigger story for families in Haiti, and we’re so thankful to have the right people joining the mission at the right time. Please join us in praying for a smooth transition as he begins this new role and for the families whose lives will be changed through his work.
