At Child Hope International, we believe that strong families are the foundation for lasting change. That’s why we’re continuing to invest in Families Count, our biblical parenting program designed to equip, encourage, and walk alongside parents as they care for their children.
Recently, we had the privilege of hosting an introductory meeting with 13 pastors from Haiti’s South Department. These leaders gathered to learn more about Families Count and how it can serve families within their churches and communities. It was a meaningful time of connection, vision casting, and shared commitment to strengthening families.
This moment marks an exciting step forward. As we continue to establish our ministry more deeply in the South, partnerships like these are essential. Through our participation in the Working Group for Child Protection (GTPE-South) and Child Rights Day, we are building a stronger local presence.
Families Count is more than a program. It’s an invitation for parents to grow in confidence, learn practical skills, and embrace their role with renewed hope. And through the local church, that impact multiplies—reaching families who may be facing overwhelming challenges and offering them a path forward together.
We are excited about what lies ahead. These 13 pastors represent not just churches, but communities of families who can be strengthened, supported, and kept together. As Families Count begins to take root in the South, we are expectant for the ways God will work through these partnerships to bring restoration and stability to families.
Thank you for being part of this journey with us.
