Did you know approximately 32,000 children in Haiti are living in orphanages? An estimated 80% of those children are not “true orphans” and have at least one parent or close relative living nearby. Children are separated from their families and placed in orphanages for many reasons, but poverty is the main factor.
Child Hope International’s Hope Partners are friends like you who want to see children grow up in families, not institutions (like orphanages). By getting involved as a Hope Partner with a monthly gift, you will help children transition out of orphanages and back into families. You will also provide support to families in crisis to make sure parents don’t have to make the heart-wrenching choice to send their children to orphanages.
