During the summer while the children are out of school, we place an emphasis on encouraging the children think about their futures. We visit several local businesses so the children can see what some of the job and career opportunities are in Haiti. In July, the children visited Anacaona soap factory, which recycles soap from hotels, creating jobs while promoting health & hygiene. They also visited Cafe Selecto, a leading business in the coffee industry in Haiti.
Our hope is that by introducing the children to many career paths, they will dream big and be excited for their futures!
