Protests Feb 20

Life is returning to normal in Port Au Prince.  We have been able to restock essentials like water, food, and propane. Our kiddos are back in school.  We are so thankful for this!

Although the protests have stopped, the underlying issues have yet to be addressed.  It is very likely that in the months ahead, there will be more protests and manifestations.  More violence, destruction of property, and looting.

We ask that you continue to pray for our children, their families, our staff, our board, and our partner ministries & businesses.  For the leaders of Haiti, an end to corruption, and that “creation itself will be liberated from its bondage to decay and brought into the freedom and glory of the children of God” (Romans 8:21).

If you’re wondering what you can do to make a difference, please consider making a financial gift to Child Hope.  These protests have led to unforeseen expenses for the ministry.  Additionally, we believe that our continuing work of providing orphan care that reduces the future demand for orphan care in Haiti is preparing the next generation of leaders in Haiti who will bring God’s will for restoration to the country, for His glory.
